How to Add Custom Application Questions to an Existing Job Listing Template

About Custom Application Questions

Custom Application Questions let you tailor your driver application to the specific needs of your fleet. With this feature, you can insert your own questions directly into the application flow so you can gather the right information from drivers upfront.

Choose from multiple question types, reorder or toggle questions as needed, and streamline your qualification process with more complete and accurate applicant data.


Step 1: Add a Custom Question to an Existing Template

Follow these steps to create a new template for your custom questions:

1. Click Settings

2. Click Job Listing under Templates

3. Select your Job listing template.

4. Select Questions

5. Click the "+" button to add a question

6. Click Create Question

7. Type in the question you would like to add

8. Choose whether this question is required

  • Under required, select Yes to make the question mandatory before submission.

9. Choose a question type

  • Text – Allows the applicant to enter a free-form response.

  • Yes / No – Applicant selects either “Yes” or “No.”

  • Single Select – Applicant chooses one option from a list you provide.

  • Multi Select – Applicant can choose multiple options from a list you provide.

10. Click Save question

11. After adding all desired questions, click Create

Set-Up Options for Single Select or Multi Select Questions

If your question type is Single Select or Multi Select, follow these steps to create options for applicants to select:

1. Select Single Select or Multi Select

2. Click "+" to add response options

  • Enter the name of each option you want applicants to choose from.

3. Click Save question when finished
