Steps to Enable Document Intelligence
From the sidebar, click on Settings
Click on Company
Click on Document Intelligence
Click on Edit
Enable the document intelligence
Click Save
Steps to Upload a Document with AI Intelligence
From the sidebar, click on Applicants
Click on the applicant’s name
From the top bar, click on Documents
You will be taken to the Checklist view
Click on Upload
Upload your file by clicking the box or dragging and dropping it
Option 1: Wait for AI Intelligence to Complete
If you choose to wait, the AI will automatically analyze the document and fill in the fields.
Wait for the AI detection to complete
Review the AI-detected fields:
The document will be displayed on the left side, allowing you to visually compare it with the detected fields
You will see a message showing how many fields were filled by AI
You will also see the original file name
Fields marked with AI indicators show how confident the AI is about the detected data:
AI filled • Review → Lower confidence: These fields should be reviewed before saving
AI filled → High confidence: Review is recommended but not required
Review and update the document details if needed:
Click on the file name to edit it
Click on Category to select the correct category
Review the Status
If all fields are confidently detected, it may be automatically set to Completed
You can change it to Pending Review if needed
Click on the Expiration Date to update it if necessary
Click on Expires in one year, if that's the case
Click Save
After saving:
The document will appear in the checklist
If the document status is Completed, the checklist item will also be set to Completed.
Option 2: Use “Save Now” (Continue in Background)
If you don’t want to wait for AI detection to complete:
Click Save Now
The document will be saved while AI continues processing in the background
When using Save Now, the AI may still be processing or have lower confidence. Because of this, the system will prompt you to review and confirm the detected fields before completing the document
To review/complete the document later:
From the applicant's profile, go to the Documents section, and click on Documents
Locate the document you uploaded
Click on the document name
Review AI predictions:
You will see pop-up messages showing:
Choose an action:
Review the detected fields:
AI-detected fields will appear in the fields bar
Hover or click on the field to see the confidence level
Edit any field if needed:
Click on Approve
The document status will be set to Completed
The checklist item will also be updated to Completed
AI Classification Indicators
Documents processed with Document Intelligence display indicators that show which fields were classified by AI. These indicators may appear in different places:
Next to Category
Blue → The category was classified by AI
Red → AI classification failed (this may be due to network issues; try uploading again)
Next to Expiration Date
Blue → High confidence prediction
Dark Red → Low confidence prediction (review recommended)
Gray → The document is currently being analyzed by AI
Next to Document Name (Checklist)
Important Notes:
AI may automatically fill fields such as expiration date, category, and document details.
You can edit or override any AI-detected field.
Some documents may automatically update their status to Completed based on AI detection.
AI predictions include a confidence level, which helps you decide whether to accept or edit the data.
AI may highlight inconsistencies between uploaded documents and application data. (See: How to Review Flagged or Mismatched Information with Document Intelligence)
