How to Update the Status of an Expiration Tracker

In this section, we’ll show you how to update the status of an expiration tracker, including marking it as renewed, canceled, or archived.

Steps to Update the Status of an Expiration Tracker in Double Nickel

  1. From the sidebar, click on Expirations

    Click on Expirations

  2. Select the expiration tracker you want to update

    Click on Gaston Schattenhofer 1

  3. In the right-side menu, click on Edit

    Click on Edit

  4. In front of Status, select the new status:

    Click on Renewed

    • Renewed: Marks the tracker as renewed and cancels all scheduled notifications. Use this when the document has been updated or replaced.

      Click on Renewed

    • Cancelled: Cancels the tracker and all scheduled notifications. This action cannot be undone.

      Click on Renewed

    • Archived: Archives the tracker and cancels all scheduled notifications. Use this to keep a record without actively tracking it.

      Click on Renewed

  5. Click on Confirm

    Click on Confirm

Now you can update expiration trackers and manage notifications based on your workflow needs!
