The Cisive Driver iQ integration with Double Nickel allows fleets to request and manage driver screening and compliance checks without leaving the platform. By connecting recruiting and background screening into a single workflow, teams can move faster, stay compliant, and reduce manual back-and-forth.

Hiring qualified drivers requires more than sourcing candidates. It requires fast, reliable screening and clear visibility into each applicant’s status. With Cisive Driver iQ integrated into Double Nickel, recruiters can initiate background checks, track progress in real time, and review results directly within each driver’s profile.
This article walks through how to place Cisive Driver iQ screening orders in Double Nickel once the integration is enabled.

Set-Up a Background Check Automation

Steps to Place a Cisive Driver iQ Order through Double Nickel
Note: You can also automate the ordering of background check packages in Double Nickel. To learn how to set up this automation, refer to the How to Automate Placing Background Check Orders guide.
1. Click on the applicant's profile.
Note: To place a background check order, signed consents are required. Consents are automatically generated when the applicant completes the full DOT application. You can view them at the bottom of the completed application.
2. Click on Documents or Orders, then click Request
3. Select the package you need from the dropdown list
Note: To add background check packages to your account, you must contact Cisive Driver iQ directly and request that the packages be added.
4. Click Confirm to place the order
The order has now been placed.
Steps to View the Cisive Driver iQ Order Status and Results
1. Click on Orders, then select a specific order to view its status and details.
Note: Order statuses are synced directly from Cisive Driver iQ. To confirm the most up-to-date status, please check your Cisive Driver iQ account.
2. Once the order is complete, click on Documents or Orders to view the returned background check report.
The report will appear under the appropriate checklist item with a Pending Review status
It will also be available in the Orders tab
Click on the order to view the document in the side panel under Documents
3. After reviewing the report, update the document status to Completed.
